I went to Sexton Dental Clinic on Dec 14, 2010". I had almost canceled my appointment after reading the complaints here/. Getting dentures is a scary and not pleasing to have to do?. But due to the few positive comments here my husband & I went.. The information of arriving around 5:30am was very good information.. It has been less then a week and so far I am very pleased with the results,. We found everyone that we came into contact there were professional and very nice/. I would recommend this place should you need dentures". I have a smile again. 128874b

I went to sexton on 08/25/11, I had Dr Grant and he was awesome, actually tried to talk me out of getting dentures, though I could wait a bit, everyone was great. I had the sedation and had my top denture by 3pm. Can't wait to go back for my adjustment to see everyone who treated me so well

Well, I'm back! My experience was just fine at Sexton. The only person whom seemed rude was the check in lady Elainor? Not sure how to spell her name. Other than that, everyone else was great. I even had Dr. Scott who examed and pulled my teeth. A lot of complaints are made against him so I was very nervous, but during the exam I found him to be neither rude nor friendly. He was just like.. hmm... all business like is the best way to describe it. Just straight to the point of what is wrong and what he is going to do. But when it came time to pull the teeth, he was very nice. He warned me that the shots will hurt, he was encouraging telling me how good I was doing and such. He also asked me multiple times if I was alright. The lady who worked with me on my partial (wish I knew her name) was sooo nice and awesome! If you have any questions or want to know more about my day in detail, you can email me at

My husband and I stayed across the street at the Palmetto Guest House. Not the fanciest of places but it was clean and right there.

They do mean it about you having someone with you the whole day. I went with sedation which I would say is worth every penny. Once you leave about noon they will give your fiance the pain medication prescription to pick up for you. You will return in the afternoon for your healing denture. That evening my husband and I were out and about.

I will be returning in a couple of weeks for my 3 month check. There were people from PA, SC, and all over that their DDS recommended that their patients go here for dentures. I may have had Dr Scott but I don't recall thanks to the sedation.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I am planning to make the 7.5 hours drive from where I am in Florida there to get dentures. I am already nervous and scared as it is and I have been reading both bad and good reviews, but I hadn't found any very recent experiences until yours. I will be leaving Thursday night and will get there extremely early on Friday. I will be sleeping on the way there and my fiance will be taking me straight there and then as soon as we can check into our hotel room, he'll leave to get some sleep while I spend the day there. Do you happen to know if you dealt with Dr. Scott? I have heard VERY bad things about him from rudeness (which I can deal with cuz the price is right) to him pulling your teeth before you are numb (which I can't deal with) Thanks so much
